General Texas Holdem Rules
To indicate the
dealer for each hand Texas Hold'em uses a dealer-button. After each hand
is completed the button moves clockwise to the next active player. Before
the game starts Empire Poker will generate a fresh deck of cards for the
hand. A single deck of cards is used consisting of 52 cards without any
Jokers. To shuffle the deck a Random Number Generator is used (RNG). Texas
Holdem is 4 dealing rounds (2 private down cards, 3 community cards, 2x1
community card) and 4 betting rounds. Every betting round players have the
opportunity to fold (quit), raise (increase the bet) or call (follow the
bet of the previous player). Each betting round can have 4 bets (1 bet and
3 raises).
The poker hand is
created out of the 2 private cards and the 5 community cards.
- 0 private cards
and 5 community cards
- 1 private card
and 4 community cards
2 - private cards
and 3 community cards
After the final betting round the
player with the highest value poker hand wins the pot.
